I had this happen once and immediately asked the wife and she said my body had "bounced" in the bed......so something definitely happened, but could just be a mind trick about the floating in air. |

The jolt you feel is your astral body slamming back into your physical one due to your shock. This is common in the uninitiated with some natural ability's. Learn to meditate and focus and you might be one of the lucky few to enjoy a controlled OBE. “Phantoms fill the skies around you.” |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70491268 And even weirder, sometimes when that jolt hits me, my body has a sudden "spaz" that for a instant I feel as if my whole body is 3 to 4 inches off the bed, then it slams back into the mattress. WTF is going on? This has happened since I was a kid, and still happens every once in a while. yes. this is a benign kind of thing that some people get. lots of times its a bang or a boom. and it happens just at the "twilight moment" just before you flicker-out and fall asleep. a doctor told that it is a type of benign hallucination. . |
