When the civil war in Syria first started, I wondered why vast numbers of countries weren't jumping in to help them. It didn't take too long to understand why. The more countries who get involved, the more complicated it gets and, now, it's getting treacherous! I'll be surprised if this whole thing doesn't cause offshoot wars just on the basis of countries disagreeing on who needs defending!

I say send the ones who cause trouble back where they came from. The ones who want to try and make a new start and respect the country they've ended up in, maybe they would be an asset to the population.

If they try, the EU will have riots and lootings that will make Baltimore jealous.....

Just a short matter of time ... one way or the other.

Send them to Canada then seeing as you like them so much.

I'm realist, others call it skeptical:

How can someone assume that the governments and politicians will deport the migrants, when, in the first place, they invited and welcomed the migrants here and created this mess, in the first place.

And do not be deluded to think "oh, poor babies, they didn't know what they were doing" because is that is true, their place is not to lead nations.

So, in other words the wolf is now the watcher to the sheep and now the wolf is promising not to eat the sheep...

How can be someone so , to believe that?

This is just a maneuver to appease somewhat the until they make the critical mass to be able to unleash against us. There is no other explanation that they are bringing those migrants also in US, other that this is a plot, orchestrated globally.

I agree, it's just an attempt to appease the growing number of people saying they dont want them in their country imo.

Very few if any will actually be sent back after appeals etc.

Those deported will be REGISTERED refugees...I read last night that it is estimated that at least 300,000 crossed the boarders illegally and WERE NOT REGISTERED (imagine the actual number, arrrggghhh!)

Deporting is tricky, too. Once they get notifed of deportation, they have one week to get ready to leave the country. Instead, they go underground. Native Finns who think it's morally wrong to deport a single migrant hide them and help them for years.

The problem is already hear! People in my village are running to sell their houses after announcement of a refugee camp to be built in a beautiful park next to a ground school!

It is chaos and panicking! My wife said we must move. Good thing we rent!

in my small town of <1000 the united church sponsored an iraqi christian family.

they have been here acpl months and already have a house and a job working in the local cafe.

their cleanliness is not up to health dept standards but it seems they are learning.

the husband is the cook and the wife is kitchen help.

at least they were.

it seems that the owner attempted to teach the wife how to use the washing machine and after not being able to grasp the complexities of load, push button, and unload, the couple quit their jobs.

the anglican church has also sponsored a family.
