Surely this is a joke.. medicating toddlers for supposed mental health issues before they have even had a chance to develop a reasonable amount of cognitive awareness of their environment.. when will these people start understanding that letting your mind wander is actually somewhat normal.. they are just more interested in whatever they are thinking about than what you are trying to tell them or in what you have plonked down in front of them.

Sure maybe the doctors should be arrested, but the children should not be sent to orphanages.. the parents just need some re-education.

This NOT okay! I have been on & off the drug Adderall since I was 17. I am now 25. Almost 26. It is awful! When I take it I won't eat for days at a time and I will get angry & lash out at the people I love. I m guessing it's because I am "hangry." It also scares me that I may not be able to have children of my own because of my "long term use." When I don't take it I feel more in tune with the world. I feel like I am able to communicate my feelings and I am a truly kind hearted person without it. The idea of subjecting infants, no, NEWBORNS, to this drug makes me sick.

That means that 274,000 mothers should be shot.

That is because you are weak. If examples were made, then people would think twice before doing fucked up shit.

Further into the article it notes that about 3.6 million teens 13 to 17 and 4.1 million 6 to 12 year olds are on psychiatric drugs right now!!

We won't have to wait 15 years.

It would be very telling to find out the percentage of children that age being medicated that are in fostercare.

It really is not a joke. According to the following HRF article, there are an estimated 440,000 babies born each year to addicted mothers. Many of these babies enter the world suffering from seizures that require medication to control.

From what I am seeing in this crazy news and blog posts concerning this one, is its not just the doctors to point the finger at. I am shocked to be reading proud mothers putting their 3 year olds on these drugs and wanting it.

I don't get the mindset not one bit. Its like they want a drugged up drooling kid just to make life easy.
