Servo 9/28/2015 snip: "Meadow Walker, the daughter of Paul Walker, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against carmaker Porsche nearly two years after her father’s death in a crash in Santa Clarita, California. In a lawsuit filed Monday and obtained by EW, Meadow Walker also accuses Porsche of strict liability and negligence, and seeks a survival claim for an unspecific amount of damages to be determined in a jury trial. The lawsuit states the Porsche Carrera GT owned by Paul Walker “lacked safety features that are found on well-designed racing cars or even Porsche’s least expensive road cars — features that could have prevented the accident or, at a minimum, allowed Paul Walker to survive the crash.” One missing item was the electronic stability control system, “which is specifically designed to protect against the swerving actions inherent in hyper-sensitive vehicles of this type,” according to the suit. “The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car,” Milam said in a statement. “It doesn’t belong on the street. And we shouldn’t be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas.” Another fact the lawsuit disputes is the speed of the car at the time of crash. Law enforcement stated Rodas was going upward of 90 mph while Monday’s lawsuit asserts a maximum speed of 71 mph was reached." Should be suing the military for the bomb they planted inside yes? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70374219 And I bet you're one of those who believes those "Not Responsible for Accidents or Injuries" signs posted at pools, skating rinks, ski slopes, etc.... But, it is California so no telling how stupid a jury will be. |

Or Lockheed skunk works... Where the crash happened and somehow the security camera panned and zoomed to the spot of the crash before the crash happened... The car was a molten piece of metal like it was hit by a bomb not resembling a crash but more an obliteration... But like the twin tower that fell to the ground in particulate matter... Who determined the seat belts didn't work right? How can a seat belt break your bones? I thought their job was to stop you from flying out of the seat? Seems they did a good job then. Brake lines? Yeah they got snapped from some douche running into a tree.. |
