Frank Underwood - Hero To Some, Epitome of Washington Corrpution To Others
I know I'm a latecomer to the show, and I'm only in the second season on Netflix. Just after starting the second season I realized I was being manipulated to like Frank Underwood, the degenerate evil bad guy.

He's the perfect portrayal of everything that is wrong in Washington - corrupt politicians on a power trip, with no regard for individuals rights and freedoms, only looking out for their own best interests. And one message of the show is that going up against these criminals will only get you killed, locked up in jail or in a mental institution.

I have a feelings shows and movies like this, which make us admire and root for the bad guy, are more than just entertainment; they're really 'programming' us to think a certain way.

Anyone else agree or disagree? I still like the show but glad to know I'm immune to the 'programming'.
