Tell me that's just Ford guy propaganda. Yup, power glides in 64-65. other than lack o gears their bullet proof. my g/f knocked mine into reverse on the fwy going 70+. it lived. It was also the go to drag racing trans back in the day & well up into the 90's. thay take a ton o power & you only have to shift once. 66 May have had a powerglide too, not sure. 67 had a turbo400 & that was the go to big block trans for twenty years or so. Stand with the strong and fight for the weak. Under-steer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car. over-steer: When you hit the wall with the back of the car. Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall and Torque is how far you take the wall with you. How do you make a small fortune racing? Start with a very large one! |
