Even an RF choke with the speaker wire turned 2-3 times around might be enough to generate a spark from the back EMF. This shows the kid has very little knowledge in electronics. The desire is there but the know how is lacking. In his video he didn't even know what to call his pile of wires invention other than stuff. He just likes making stuff! I know, lol. What I want to know is why the White House is pretending to think he is smart. There are kids his age who actually build working Tesla Coils with home made parts. Like snapple jars as layden/caps. Hand wound secondaries with over 3000 turns....yet this punk ass gets attention. What is he good at? Figure this out and we know what the WH wants from him.
