Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70371460 I feel the need to point out here to all non-americans, that it will not just be the US gov..this crypto-currency is a threat to all nations central banks and currencies, so don't think they wont come to the same conclusion as the US sorry to keep rambling on this, but I'm truly amazed at how cavalier the crypto crowd is on this issue,, this is actually grounds for war between nations when you fuck with a nations currency, and you don't think they will hunt hackers for this? come on pull your heads out of it..just ignorant to not know how big of a hornets nest you've stirred when you try to mess with money this way How can the control something that can't be controlled? It's decentralized... nobody to goto war with. It cannot be undone unless the entire internet goes down. You can't pay your regular taxes with bitcoin so I'm certain the government doesn't lose much sleep over cryptocurrencies. Haha! ill stop on this last little clue for you, it is the ONLY thing they live for...all agencies..ALL...military, or whatever, everything, they all answer to the treasury when all is said and done I always enjoy a good debate... we both could be wrong. And I agree with your premise. However, I question any ability to actually tax it. When buying US dollars with bitcoin... Sure, they can tax that (kinda). But you can buy damn near anything these days with bitcoin alone. No need to convert to dollars. |
