First off, close the house up and run a couple of HEPA filters to get the pollen and crap out of what you're breathing. Maybe they're getting allergies to the pollen, developing muscus over night and being nauseous because of it. Close the house and filter the air.
Get a CO2 detector from walmart.
Like the one person said, be sure they aren't doing something stupid like drinking the shower water.

If I find giardia, I know to go water first. This is an amazingly stressful thing to endure. Kills me to see them sick. I'd take it in a second.
