As a pregnant woman nears delivery, the birth pangs begin to come in quicker succession and with greater intensity. Jesus said that the world at the close of this age would experience earthquakes like birth pangs. If you look at the chart I've posted below, you will see the USGS records show a marked increase in large earthquakes the last decade.

Last May was one such cycle of "contractions" in this birthing process. It appears we may be entering into another contraction. But what is being birthed? The Kingdom of God on earth! The only catch is that this Kingdom is only for those who have surrendered their life to its King: Jesus.

All one need do is believe Jesus died for their sins, turn to God with a humble, workable attitude that allows Him to change and transform you, and get to know Him through study of His Word and prayer and walk out your faith as the Bible teaches. Then, you will be immovable and steadfast in whatever shaking that comes!
