Anonymous Coward User ID: 70294486 United States 09/17/2015 11:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why? This is so stupid. A woman has never been president in this country and there really hasn't been an amazing female leader in this country that has ever done anything historically significant. Quoting: GoodKitty Susan B Anthony is the closest to doing anything really significant but she wasn't one of our country's leaders, she was an activist. You don't put activists on a country's currency, the next thing you know we'll have Cesar Chavez and Martin Luther King on America's currency. While activists have a role in shaping America, they aren't elected nor do they compare to a founding father like Alexander Hamilton. Why are the liberals SO determined to rewrite America's history? I am a woman and I honestly this is such a stupid token move. It's condescending to just put any woman on the $10 bill out of some liberal guilt complex. The next thing you know Obama will be on the one dollar bill because he was the first "black" president. Ten dollar bills are so insignificant it doesn't matter who's on it. Sacagawea is quite accomplished. She could be on it. How about Condaleeza Rice. |

Regardless if they are president or women. I'd be okay with Martin Luther King on the ten dollar bill. Ben Franklin was not a liberal or a U.S. president. In fact he was a party going, womanizing, slave owning, postal worker, Independent ACTIVIST. All the Republicans last night except for Fiorina had not problem having a female, African American activist on the ten dollar bill. Do you think they allow the liberals to make them feel guilty? No I didn't think so. |

Why change it now? Ridiculous. The mint must have nothing else to do. Rosa Parks would have been great before the whole Planned Parenthood thing, however she should still be considered regardless. |

They intend to take a founding father off the 10 dollar bill, and replace him with some historically insignificant female, JUST for the sake of political creectness? You are right, this IS ridiculous. Where does all this bullshit ever end? They've done a masterful job at destroying the family and making women hate and distrust men, and now it's reaching the point where men (even with their stronger sex drive) are growing to hate women. |

"Shut up" is not how adults speak to each other. Are you going to argue or debate? Do you know the difference. Hamilton wont be taken off the bill. Get your facts straight. |
