I predict stocks will be down sharply today and the foreseeable future.

It is perpetually "the calm before the storm" on here as there is thread after thread after thread over the years on that subject.

Stocks are going nowhere until Yellen announces whether rates will be raised or not. That happens tomorrow.

Exactly, the USD/JPY is completely non conforming to how it has acted over the years. Used to be the US stocks were up, dollar was down. Remember though, that recently all the big Forex companies were busted for manipulating the currencies.

I totally agree OP... its calm now, too calm, and its going to soon crlss the threshold of no return. After the last blood moon. All hell breaks loose. All 4 horses of the apocalypse will ride.

That the Chinese president is rewarded with a full honors 'state' dinner at the white house.

I think it will rise to a category 5 worldwide over the next months, if something isn't done to stop it from spiraling out of control.
