Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34701140 It doesn't say that, and no other Gods includes Christ. Even he taught that. Take the step of faith to accept that Jesus is the only human who is the manifestation of the power of God (the Holy Spirit) and if you truly believe that then you will see everywhere in scripture that all signs point to Jesus Christ as God the truth, the only, the Almighty. Here are some examples from scripture: Scripture says he will be called "Immanuel" or "God with us". There is only one God. The prophets also had the Holy Spirit, same with king Saul, king David, king Hezekiah which the Bible speaks of each of those having the Spirit and also losing the Spirit at some point. If it was merely about the in-dwelling Spirit then those prophets should have been called "Immanuel" also. Jesus is called the "King of kings" and "Lord of lords". Only God is the Lord of lords. Jesus calls women "daughter" and men "son" and them "my child". Only the Father God can say that. Jesus claimed to have spoken with Abraham. God met and spoke with Abraham. Jesus accepted worship which would be blasphemy if he were not God in the flesh. He knew what people were thinking, something only God can know. He says, in the Old Testament, that he is God alone, that he will share his glory with NO OTHER. That means there is no "Father" AND "Son" but they are both one together, and only one throne NOT two thrones. He says in the Old Testament he will write his law in the hearts of his people (anyone who accepts him receives the Holy Spirit) and he will be their God and they will be his people. Jesus says what the Father says he says, what the Father does he does, what the Father has is his, that he comes in the name of the Father, that "I and the Father are ONE". It might be hard to believe Jesus is God Almighty if he outright told you, "I am God" or "I am your God". But, if he proved himself and made hints like, "I am the Alpha and the Omega", and "No one comes to God (the Father) except by ME", and "Whoever does not honor the Son does not Honor the Father (Holy Spirit) who sent him" then it's easier to eventually come to the conclusion that it is true, he is "the Truth", he is "the Life", and he is "the Way" to salvation because he IS God. God is the creator who created everything in the universe, known and unknown. God created everything in the microverse, in the world of microscopes and every bit of everything that is creation. And in the ages to come, God will create MORE and a NEW CREATION will also come. God is infinite in knowledge. Do not EVER try to think YOUR knowledge is even a fraction of what the Lord knows. No matter how smart you are, your mind is finite and has a limit, just like mine. But God is infinite and there is no limit. But God gave us a mind like His Son, Jesus Christ when we accepted Him as Lord and Savior and because of this we are given the ability by God to understand Him and know Him. This is by the will of our Lord, Jesus Christ who is God in the Flesh. Any man or woman who thinks that they know more than God or qualifies himself or herself as being more "good" or "righteous" than God Himself has fallen under the spell and lie of Satan who embodies this rebellion. Woe and cursed are you who continue in rebellion against God, who is the ALMIGHTY. In Jesus Christ. |

That is why Creation and all Life holds it's breath for the moment when the KING will restore all things and free creation of the burden of Sin that is in the world still. And the only thing holding it back is that Jesus Christ is merciful that He wants as many people as possible to believe and have Faith in God and believe in Him that their sins might be forgiven and be blessed with Eternal Life.
