There's a grey fox that visits my yard; they aren't all that big. About the size of a large doxie, plus fur that looks like a bushy hunk of dead grass. They eat rats, mice and snakes, fruits & veggies. I leave clean water out for him daily and sometimes chopped apple pieces.

They are mostly night creatures but come out late afternoon sometimes. They have sharp hind claws that enable them to climb trees. If that's who's there, he's a keeper.
