FM Bakoyannis addresses UNSC thematic debate on peace and security

Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis addressed in New York on Wednesday a thematic debate of the United Nations Security Council, on a foreign ministers level, on the UN's cooperation with regional organizations in maintaining peace and security.

Presenting the Greek SC presidency's theme Bakoyannis noted:

Yes, indeed, for in our era a third world war using such weapons would signify nothing less than world suicide, with people exploded into virtual nothingness or perishing from the aftereffects of a nuclear holocaust. Keen-sighted politicians and military commanders painfully sense that fact. They do not want to become responsible for such a global disaster. Thus, diametrically opposed political systems will find it convenient to come to an accord, yes, to follow the worldly-wise philosophy of “live and let live.”

Hence, will it be because of a sincere, genuine love for one another as members of the same human family that rulers will unite in making the proclamation of “Peace and security” for all the world of humankind? However, the clergy’s backing of the loudly proclaimed political arrangement does not mean that the God of the universe, including our earth, will support it. In their religious edifices, the clergy may offer up long and loud prayers in the hearing of their religious patronizers and ask the divine blessing upon the measures taken by the political element for international peace and security. But are all such solemn prayers, to which listening congregations append a vigorous “Amen,” acceptable to the God of this universe? Can he be at peace with a religiously divided world, the prayers of which for peace and security are modeled according to the disagreeing religious sects and denominations?

What form will this significant cry of “Peace and security!” take? It is here mentioned as being outstanding just before the sudden destruction of those making the cry. Hence, it will have to be something more pronounced than any previous declarations by world leaders. No doubt it will be on an earth-wide scale. Yet, it will be no more than a facade. Underneath, nothing will really have changed. Selfishness, hatred, crime, family breakdown, immorality, sickness, sorrow, and death will still be here. That is why the coming cry will mislead those who are not awake to Bible prophecy. But it need not mislead you, if you have been awake to the meaning of world events and have heeded the prophetic warnings in God’s Word.—Mark 13:32-37; Luke 21:34-36.

they don't believe in it because they are the ones that have tricked you into thinking that the end of the world is coming. that way you won't care as much when they lock everybody up in persuance of terminal war.

Scoffers at the Bible may take this idea of Satan the Devil and his demon angels being thrown down to the vicinity of our earth as a laughing matter. But can they laugh and are they laughing at the “woe” that both earth and sea are experiencing today? No, those scoffers cannot see Satan the Devil with their natural eyes, but they have reason to know that he and his legions of demon angels are around, in our neighborhood. If they do not believe it, then let them answer why it is that the League of Nations that was organized shortly after the end of World War I did not prove to be an international organization for world peace and security.

Why did it not prevent the rise of war-minded political dictators in Europe?

Why did it not prevent the outbreak of World War II in 1939, the war that climaxed with the detonating of two atomic bombs with woe for the inhabitants of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

Also, Why is it that the United Nations organization, since its formation at the close of World War II in 1945, has not prevented all the wars and revolutions, territorial aggressions, and other political turmoils till the present time?

Why is it that we have such frightening buildup of the great world powers for nuclear warfare?

Why the money crisis?

Why troubles continually between labor and capital, even between government employees and government?

Why all the fanatical nationalism? Why all the racial strife and prejudices?

Why the increasing of crime?

Why the breakdown of morals?

Why the epidemic increase of social diseases?

Why the ruining of mankind’s earthly home by pollution?

Why the growing shortage of food for earth’s increasing population?

Why, as Jesus Christ predicted for our time, “upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken”? (Luke 21:25, 26, Revised Standard Version)

For every effect there is a cause. What is the real cause of all these distressing effects?

Shortly, “crazed” members of the UN will be maneuvered by Jehovah to turn on false religion, as described at Revelation 17:16: “These will hate the harlot and will make her devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts and will completely burn her with fire.” This will mark the start of the great tribulation that is referred to at Matthew 24:21 and that will climax at Armageddon, the war of the great day of God the Almighty. Like ancient Babylon, Babylon the Great will meet up with the judgment pronounced at Jeremiah 51:13, 25: “‘O woman residing on abounding waters, abundant in treasures, your end has come, the measure of your profit making. Here I am against you, O ruinous mountain,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘you ruiner of the whole earth; and I will stretch out my hand against you and roll you away from the crags and make you a burnt-out mountain.’”

Corrupt, warmongering nations will follow false religion into destruction as Jehovah’s day of vengeance catches up with them also.

Jehovah's messengers are send out shortly a secong worldwide message warning the world that governments are to turn on all religions, which will then be closely followed with the beginning of the Great Tribulation, ushering in Armageddon.

The "inhabitants" of Hiroshima and Nagasaki earned the priviledge of being the first to have their flesh burnt off by the searing heat produced from nuclear fission. They cheered with each bomb dropped on Korean villagers, and each Korean girl sodomized by a Japanese military officer, and with the death of each Chinese, and with the numerous other activities. Had the Japanese had the moral courage to demand that their government cease and desist its acts of violence, then engaged in civil disobedience if the government refused, then overthrown the government it it still continued its acts of war, the whole thing could have been prevented.

However, the point is moot since both cities were on General LeMay's list of 30 cities to be fire-bombed and destroyed, just like the 87,000 inhabitants of Tokyo died.
