BREAKING: Egypt's Government Resigns

It was originally Al Qaeda's plan, not ISIS although ISIS seems to be following the general outline. ISIS and Al Qaeda are now fighting each other. Saudis think that they buy Egipt military suport in Yemen but Egipt doing nothing.
Saudis propably threatened them disclosure of this which would only suport Morsi party. So Sisi and goverment try be one step ahead and gtfo.

CAIRO — Egypt's government resigned Saturday in the face of intense criticism from state-friendly media that reflects growing discontent but stops short of faulting President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, the former general who led the overthrow of an Islamist president two years ago.

The office of the president said he accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb and his Cabinet but that the ministers would continue to serve until a new body is appointed. El-Sissi tasked Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail with forming a new Cabinet within a week.

my buddy mentioned in an earlier post in this thread is a Coptic Christian. He went back home because they tend to follow the rules, but many, many Coptics have lost relatives to muslime violence.

There's lots of rumors and scandals the things mentioned by OP imo all play a role. There's no public explanation so far given for it. Live goes on as usual, trying to stay cool in the heat that's all.

That pretty much sums it up - the announcement and that was it. Meanwhile, life is, indeed, going on.

As always, you say it like it is. We're here and that's what we see and live. Still nothing new or announced about that at all. Business as usual.
