Mock military towns Fort Drum

Did you know Ft. Drum was created along the Canadian border to make it easier to invade Canada? During WW2 the U.S. government had plans in-place to invade and take over eastern Canada (Ontario-Quebec, etc.) in case the British lost of surrendered to Nazi Germany, so as Canada wouldn't fall under Nazi control. The Canadian prime minister at the time was a well known Nazi sympathizer.
