Sad fact is, I've seen all those pics and saw the video of course, and never even noticed the boards were facing a different way.

I mean HOW THE HELL do you explain that???

This is very, very strange and difficult to explain other than the "shooting" was filmed in advance and then "aired" as live for public consumption.
The first image is from the POV of the shooter. Notice the wood deck boards are laid out behind the reporter, while the boards where the shooter and camera man are standing are laid out horizontally.
However in these recent overhead aerial shots, the floor boards behind the woman DO NOT MATCH. They are HORIZONTAL. Ok, go.

The only boards that match up with the video are on the lower decks. The deck his body is on does not match the video of course.

And the video would not match this being filmed from a lower deck either.

It's like digital video editing gone wild.

Insanity. Waiting for a good explanation for this. Has this been debunked? Too tired to search around tonight.

This is the first time this has ever been mentioned online as far as I'm aware.

That's why I freaked out when I saw the thread disappear.

This is court case ending material right there. Honestly this is the strongest evidence I've ever seen of anything on GLP in 3-4 years here.

To me, it looks like this photo, and the first one in the imgur images would have been taken on the bottom floor.

Someone has some splain'n to do because that deck is different.

Who knows? All I know is I didn't being f*ckall about this when it first came out. Everything I've seen since convinces me I was right to do so.

Sorry to break your bubbles, but if you look very closely, you will find that in the bottom pic of the imgur link the first few planks near the railing are actually aligned like in the shooting video.

Look at this youtube video of the shooting scene a few days after and you can exactly see how the wood plank pattern shifts alignment behind the corner.



The pattern is diagonally. Near the window the transition between plank alignment is after about 15 planks, but near the railing the alignment changes after two planks counting from the corner.

In the second pic of the imgur link, it a kind of a coincidence that you just can't see the transition between alignments because it is a little bit further back on the gangway.

It's a bit hard to explain but you might see it if you watch the youtube video.

Boy I'm glad I'm not the only that noticed that thread disappear, kudos to original OP this is really good evidence it would be a shame to see it disappear into nothing, none of us ever thought about the boards and how they are different woah

I see exactly what you're saying on the lower decks, but that is not the case on the upper decks where the body is located.
