Point being, a lot of stuff here has been shut down because it is too expensive to produce because China is so cheap. We need these products and there are not many places to go to.
This is part of the reason why if China collapses, we rely on them so much we will have nothing for a while.

Hard goods as well as foodstuffs. This has resulted in a tremendous economic downturn due to a massive loss of jobs. Now our populace cannot even afford to buy the cheap Chinese goods and food that they lost their jobs for. I could certainly do without more Chinese imports, as every time I see, "Made in China", it reminds me of how our government has thrown the citizenry under the bus in the name of corporate greed. It should be a crime. It probably is.
