An American friend of mine, a lady. Sold everything she had to find this so called "enlightment" from India.

All these Indian men pressed in on her 24/7, wanting to sell her stuff, and sell her spiritual teachings which she felt robbed and cheated. they also tried to sleep with her, saying it was a Goddess and God ritual. Her surroundings drained her and she felt no peace and rest that she thought she would find, only chaos and danger and stalking and 24/7 sham salespeople.

She called to her family in the states and apologized, asked for help to get home

When she arrived and touched down at the American airport, she literally knelt and kissed the floor , thankful to be back.

People don't like to hear this but this has probably been going on since the dawn of our species. We are animals, after all... having only 5% of the population do immoral acts would probably be a gross understatement and we get the media bombarding us with stories on a daily basis as there are 7 some odd billion people on the planet.
