Interesting, physically it's not that much larger than a US MK-17 15 megaton H-bomb. I don't know if it's still there but back in the early 80's there was one displayed next to the B-36 at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio.

Tsar bomb was the biggest but, actually way too big to accomplish the same or better result than us capability at that time. Both the U.S. and Russia have far smaller and more effective weapons nowadays.

Originally the Tsar bomb was suppose to be twice as big of a explosion but the lead scientist of the project saw no reason to blow a hole though the atmosphere into space.

Americas biggest explosion was done accidentally at the Bikini Islands. They use a filler that they didn't think would no nuclear but it did.
