Our media is as tightly controlled as China's still is. You see only what they want you to see. I'm not sure what you mean by gullible, most Americans are very aware of what's REALLY going on. Obama has failed in most of his intended missions with scalping the citizens.

Here's the thing about America. Its huge. Its population is large and extremely varied in ethnicity, religion, economics and education.

We literally have everything here. The whole spectrum is covered in American citizenship. We have a lot of just about any kind of American they choose to portray.

The idea of the "average American" is the real psyop.
Theres really no such thing as the average American. The population is far too diverse and spread out to really be generalized in any accurate way.


So sorry for the partial answer. But the answer is yes, some Americans are like that. Millions. But most are not. Those commercials reflect how they want us to be or how they choose to view us.

A lot of us younger people only turn on the tv when it's being used as our computer monitor.

I'm 35 and do the same. My 65 " is just a portal to the Internet. All my news and movies come from the net anyways. I have access to 1800 stations and dont even have cable.
