Discovered by security researcher Cody Crews, the Firefox exploit allows an attacker to violate the same origin policy and inject script into a non-privileged part of Firefox's built-in PDF Viewer. www.theregister.co.uk/2015/08/07/update_firefox_to_foil_russian_filestealing_vuln_exploit/ Usually my Firefox updates by itself. In fact it updated yesterday. Are you saying we have to do this manually? |

"This morning Mozilla released security updates that fix the vulnerability. All Firefox users are urged to update to Firefox 39.0.3. The fix has also been shipped in Firefox ESR 38.1.1. Mozilla products that don’t contain the PDF Viewer, such as Firefox for Android, are not vulnerable." [link to blog.mozilla.org (secure)] Last Edited by T4 Nanobot on 08/08/2015 01:28 AM |

I don't trust any of them.. I keep sayin'....: Thread: Breaking News!!!!!...Windows 10 License activation is erasing computers Bios Thread: Warning!!!!!....Windows 10 is killing computers permanently by erasing Bios!!! do you think they're going to include a backdoor that can be easily turned off or erased with a downgrade? That's not how they work. [link to resources.infosecinstitute.com] "NSA BIOS Backdoor a.k.a. God Mode Malware" . .. ...If win 10 is fucking with BIOS, more than likely the backdoor is on your motherboard. wouldn't doubt if the win 7 & 8 updates do the same. If it's on your board, not even a complete HDD reformat/re-install will get rid of it. Have to clear & re-do your BIOS to cover all angles. Last Edited by Dace on 08/08/2015 03:37 AM |
