Its basically FULL of spyware and keyloggers, data miners by default,. You have to follow the steps here to disable it, including manually disabling things with regedit.

You have to use the Local Group Policy editor, registry editor, Administrative Command Prompt, and other deep administrative tools in order to disable all the stuff.


But the question remains, do you trust that it is really disabled, and not just lying whilst secretly staying enabled for CIA backdoor or something.

The OS for all intensive purposes appears to be back-doored from the language that Microsoft uses in their privacy policy. Pay particular attention where they mention private folders.

So I guess I will be staying with Window 7 then, until it is obsolete, then moving completely to Linux.

Linux is already able to replace Windows for the most part, my guess is by then it will be able to do more.

I'm glad windows 8 is so buggy my pc overheats from the extra bs on it, flashy touch pad crap.
If I wanted a touch pad I would buy one made for that style of system. The merge is really dumb of the 2 styles.
Now I thought maybe I would get windows 10,

Also i'm sure they will make some type of monthly charge like i've heard. Just sounds like a risky OS.

microsoft is decided that data mining is more profitable than charging for the OS. windows 7 will be my last microsoft OS I use. LInux here I come.
