The cat is obviously allowed on the high shelves of the kitchen. And then you place food on the counter. DUH! WHAT WILL THE KITTY DO? DUH! He thinks its cute since he recorded it.
Cats belong on the floor and maybe the couch, allowed in the house a little each day, and the Catbox outside. Nothing smells worse in the house like cat poop.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69443409 exactly if there is one place I dont allow my cat is kitchen counters, whole kitchen area is off. I'm sure he still jumps on them when I'm not around I even catch him at times at nights and he immediately jumps down with lowered body walk of shame. its weird cause I never punished him for that. Quoting: Matjaz My mother leaves tin foil on her counters every night. Swears the cat won't jump. Uses the same foil every night. Might be time for me to try that. Quoting: Azila_Again are cats affraid of tin foil? Quoting: Matjaz She said hey don't like the sound or feel. I thought it was weird too, but I'm gonna try it on my coffee table for a while. Mine is still too young to get on the counters but knocks everything off the coffee table. Who know? I'll let you know if it works.
