Daughter worries when, after gathering scallops, her father doesn't resurface with her. Goes back down to look for him and sees him being mauled by shark. In waters off Tasmania.

the scallop and abalone divers used to get eaten the most.

rule one is never take your eye off partner, rule two is bangstick ready to go in off hand at all times. break either you will get eaten.

you have to look at ocean floor to do your work. doing it while other diver isn't watching your back, it's only a matter of time before youre attacked.

specially where they were, great white high density.

Also that some people still venture to dive in shark infested waters. Seems more like the MSM telling us something....
