The Council wanted to put a Gypsy camp on a farmer's land near here .

Seems like it could be a bit messy... why not just cremate the pigs and spread their ashes all over the cemetery? Heck, I've even read about how you can have yourself turned into a tree - they could do the same thing with the pigs, except plant pig trees all over the place.

I'm sure they are worried that the cemetery is just the first step. They have a cemetery, now they need a mosque. Or they could just wait and see what happens, but that usually doesn't turn out well.

At one time a while ago we had some muslim doctors working in the hospital.

They had a house nearby where they prayed.

One day an Imam arrived and soon after he was beaten up and left.

Awhile later an old chapel was bought for multi faith worship in a small village.

Before it could be used it was decorated with pigs heads and so was never opened.

Now a multicultural place is being opened near the crematorium .The crematorium has a guard so we wait and see what happens....

This is all from the local paper. I have no idea who is responsible .

When I read what happens to other people I am glad that is what happened here.

I do understand. We just have to remember that religious freedom applies to all. Trying to block Muslims religious activities isn't the way we can fight Jihadists. Few people give up their religious beliefs because their beliefs are under attack.

In Turkey they make a horrendous noise in their call to prayers.

Early in the morning. We just drove out of the country as we didn't like it.

As they do not believe in song it is a terrible cacophony broadcast over loud speakers.

What if there are other people who are not muslims living near a mosque ?

What about their rights to peace and quiet?

Here it is against the law to make too much noise.

i hear what you are saying. but remember this - you have a place forever, a shrine if you will, that brings generation after generation back to a memorial spot. it's not just the influx at the funeral, it's ongoing..... they should stop when the prayer tower is built and a call to prayer happens 5 times daily in a town that is sweating to hit 5 and a half thousand?...

when a muslim dies the body is washed, wrapped in a cloth, and buried right in the ground, usually within a few hours of dying. no embalming, no casket. a lot of places, especially farms, worry about such a mass collection of rapidly decaying bodies in a cemetery such as this affecting the land as well as the water table in the area.

I am afraid they are insensitive to others needs as they have been emotionally damaged by loosing their fore skins.

It has made them all about me with no consideration for others.

The other day a muslim man a guard employed in a multi chain shop snatched a baby from a mother's breast as she was quietly feeding her. The baby clung to the mothers breast and it was scratched and the baby was terrified .

Most others would have noticed and discretely walked away.

Perhaps the mosques should start teaching the way to behave when they are in this position rather than scouring towns for people who are not too clever and persuading them to go to cafes with bombs to explode.

When they start doing that and your youth stop raping young girls I for one will respect your religion but until then I will not.

Your religion is NOT the religion of peace .
