if the momma abandoned him because she was too hungry and couldn't nurse then he is going to be killed by sharks or something, plus they have not been immunized completely by mother's milk , they will get sick and die of disease. You think animals are just resilient to all circumstances but they are really very fragile it doesn't take much to kill them all.
