Driving around southern California I was looking for Gas under 3.60 a gallon... when to my amazement I saw Gas at some stations at 4.71 per Gallon! I rushed back and still got Gas at 3.63 a Gallon and driving home saw.. 4.33---4.69..4.71~ Orange County wakes up to shock of $4.35 and climbing: Gas prices soar at independent stations Orange County motorists blinked Friday and saw gas prices top $4 a gallon at some of their neighborhood gas stations. At OC Gas on Grand Avenue in Santa Ana, prices shot up to $4.35 from $3.27 on Wednesday. Frank Zamarripa of Santa Ana was shocked when he saw the prices. The 78-year-old’s daily drive involves shuttling his great-grandchildren around town. “The price went up real bad. Whose fault is it? You'll remember that that's when the price of gasoline dropped like a rock overnight. It had nothing to do with the market forces. It had everything to do with punishing Russia. Yeah, the Americans got cheaper gas. So what? Do you think Obama and the neocon warmongers really care about the peasants. No way!
