I hope no one actually believes that humans have the technology to power and transmit data over 4 BILLION km.

Really? Please then explain the power source, and the data transmission technology.

'You are saying the pictures are not real?
Why lie about that? For what purpose?'

Some ritual purpose, most likely. Pluto is aka Osiris.

Do you believe they are real? Why?

What is the energy resource and power system that can travel 4.2 billion km, take images, and then transmit them 4.2 billion km? How is that data being transmitted? What type of antennae for lack of a a better word has the capability to do that? Whatever the answers to these questions, these amazing and unheard of technologies must be at least as old the mission craft, 2006.

[link to en.m.wikipedia.org (secure)]

according to that, it's power is 228watts, so either there are many lies being presented to us, or there is a technology that can power guidance, data and imaging systems for 10 years, capture and transmit images across space to earth from near the moon, near Jupiter, and now near pluto.

There is no truth in these photos or the craft description, or the previous images, IMHO.

For example, when you listen to the radio, eventually you will drive out of the range of the signal transmissions capability to reach you, and radio towers have significant power, more than 228 watts to be sure.

So what power source can travel that distance, be charged for almost 10 years, send transmissions from the moon, then again from Jupiter, and now allegedly from pluto?

Do you know how that might be possible? I do not, but I sure would like to.

These are extremely simple questions that anyone with a few fingers could type into google and found.

It uses nuclear power provided by Plutonium

It has a directional high gain antennae for communication, a radio station is sending out their signal in all directions with an omnidirectional antennae and eventually you get out of range due to having a crappy low gain antennae, the curvature of the earth, and objects in the way.

You should go find something to be legitimately skeptical of because this one is extremely simple, and you are extremely dumb.

You not understanding something, or disbelieving something, has no relevance to the truth of that something.

What we require from you is understanding.
Enough understanding to explain to us why it can't work that way.
Enough understanding to explain concepts like the difference between omni-directional and directional communication, what a link budget is, how radio works, and why size (of the antennae) matters.

What on that page explains or answers the OP questions?
What is the power soure? What is the transmission of data technology?

Why are you , some of you, so quick to believe NASA or any space agency?

4.2 billion km.

So far, NO ONE has provided information that would make these claims believeable. Saying, you are stupid, or go look it up,do not help, and prove nothing.

For those of you who believe those photos, why do you? I have stated why I do not.

Please help me understand then.
Explain how something with 228 watts of power can last almost 10years in space take and transmit images from three different, increasingly far distances away, and finish from 4.2 billion km. Please help me understand what type of power can last that long and transmit that far, with only 228 watts. Please describe for us the type of communication that they are using, and why you believe a distance of 4.2 billion km is not a challenge for that communication transmission platform. You give the impression that you know, so please explain it to those of us who do not, so that we may understand too.

These kinds of threads show how ignorant people really are about science and physics. It isn't sending out a signal like a radio station would. It has a directional antenna. It points towards Earth like a laser would.

Learn basic science and physics first, then come back and post a thread that makes sense.
