Should we pull a Brave New World and just start killing people at 50 when they start to go downhill and become useless? Because gawd is all about keeping the production/labor rates up?? Then forgotten when they're dead and gone. At least slaves could have a roof over their head and food on the table for a day's work. Because people died early they worked until they died. Presently the average age of death is more than twice the age. He's interpreting the scriptures incorrectly IMO. .
