If you like Wim Wenders' work, if you like real photography, if you want to see something heartbreaking, sad, but beautiful, if you still have hope for the humanity, you should watch this documentary...

"For the last 40 years, the photographer Sebastião Salgado has been traveling through the continents, in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed some of the major events of our recent history; international conflicts, starvation and exodus. He is now embarking on the discovery of pristine territories, of wild fauna and flora, and of grandiose landscapes as part of a huge photographic project which is a tribute to the planet's beauty."

I decided now is the right time to post this tread, when everywhere is full of hate and propaganda ...
Look where we are - look what we are doing ...

For me Wim Wenders is a legend. Works like Palermo Shooting, Lisbon story, Wings of Desire, Paris Texas, also Buena Vista Social Club and others gave me that "mental satisfaction", I was looking for all my life :)

Hmm, seems like no Wenders' fans here...

Anyway, if someone is interested, there are so many links and info on the web :)
or google Sebastião Salgado artworks - they are really breathtaking

So sorry that the European movies, directors, photographers are not well-known to the American audience
