Now this takes the cake!! Doctors urged to amputate healthy limbs

Any doctor that would agree to whack off a perfectly healthy limb should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. They take an oath to "do no harm". Guess that doesn't count now.

Until enough of the sad limb-missing assholes complain it's not fair that the fully limbed can do things they can't and to be fair everyone must have at least one limb missing.

You know how shit carries on like that. First smoking in certain places is banned, now almost everywhere. Then control of diets. The Confederate flag taken from official buildings, in two days many quit selling it, now a push to ban it from license plates, nest a charge of inciting riots if you have the symbol showing in public, etc. Nothing ever ends with the original proposed idea.

Anyway, the limb amputees will surely demand benefits and such.

I have no problem with ppl amputating their own limbs. Their body. But you can't force a doctor to do it.

Anyway, these are serious mentally disturbed ppl.

It's their body and they can do anything they want with it. It's none of your business, really.

It's our business when they do it and then get on the dole and we have to pay for it via taxes, my friend.

I read that this happened in Britain. The story is on google somewhere. Maybe someone has brought it up already. So it is not satire. These things are happening. Even one is too much.

They do this and then they can claim disability.

Tax payers the foot these people's insane choice.

Britain already did this at taxpayer's expense and now the guy who was able bodied is living on the dole.

That is why people should be upset. I say if they do this on purpose then they get no financial help and no disability. Maybe they should get a trip to the mental asylum.

Well, the article was on the Daily Mail as well. I read a thread about it on GLP a few months ago but now can't find it. Interesting topics on here when you do a search on amputate. Yikes!

So they have a word for those fatsos at Walmart in the motor carts and all those who park in handicapped spots and then hop out of their cars and run inside to the store, but get all defensive and talk about their hidden handicaps when confronted. LOL!

They removed perfectly healthy breasts and reproductive organs from Angelia Jolie.

Neither of which disables her and there was a very good reason it was done.

She didn't have anything removed because she wanted to be disabled. She isn't nuts.

What these folks do not understand, is that they are most likely still going to feel the limb. I do. I feel it, and most of the time it's quite unpleasant. I lost my own leg above the knee because about 8 doctors couldn't find the reason it hurt so much. It was 5 large clots, that if found could have saved my leg. oh well.

Balance is another thing. No more balance my friend, without a very expensive prosthetic. Then, if not fitted properly, can lead to possible more surgeries if the residual limb is getting rubbed wrong. And those trips to the prosthetist are very expensive. Too expensive. So, I crutch. and at home, I roll.

I've actually spoken with these folks. I don't get it, but hey I guess whatever floats your boat. I just think they are perhaps in love with the attention. Trust me, I get some pretty weird attention. Getting older just makes all this even worse. I'm not as strong as I once was. I can still crutch one legged like a sonofagun, but I sure do miss my leg. My biggest fear is that I will lose my independence. So far so good. They really do not have a clue. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
