Perhaps not in terms of eating. When it comes to killing and preparing it however it is apparent that these "things" that do it by boiling them alive are sub human and should be treated as such.

I have seen pictures of it and even if you can manage to put cultural differences aside about what is eaten, the way it is done is still repulsive.

On factory farms they have terrible lives. It is not comparable to how they torture these animals. Life feeds on life but it can be done in a far less cruel way.
