Typically, the "dual citizens" of Israel and America aren't the politicians you see and hear on the news every day. Instead, they're the policy makers and king makers just beneath the surface, behind the curtain as it were. The people who truly affect policy.

They hold positions like...

Deputy Defense Secretary
Assistant Deputy State Secretary
Defense Policy Board Chairman, etc.

People whose names you won't hear on the news every night (if ever), but who wield the power behind the scenes. The policy they create is then sold to the American public by more palatable politicians with surnames like Bush, Clinton, Smith, Jones, etc.

We've been told over and over that America has a "special relationship" with Israel. Ask your Congressperson (or anyone) to specifically explain what is "special" about the relationship, and why it takes precedence over our own American interests in many instances.

In 1948, when Zionists sought official recognition for the state of Israel, President Harry Truman consulted his advisors. Almost to a person, they advised Truman not to recognize Israel because it would be "more trouble for the U.S. than it was worth".

That was one of the most prescient remarks ever.

Alas, President Truman in 1948 was in the midst of a fierce campaign for reelection for the Presidency against Thomas Dewey, in which Truman was losing by double-digits in the polls.

But after President Truman officially recognized the state of Israel, his campaign coffers overflowed with Jewish money, and he "miraculously" came back from far behind, and won reelection in 1948.

We've all seen the famous newspaper headlines -- "Dewey Defeats Truman". Funny how that works.
