My grandmother lost her appetite and slept a lot near the end. It was so peaceful for her, she missed my grandfather so much, she was ready. She just drifted off.......... It seemed so peaceful.

I do not only think Jesus was being literal, but also figuratively as well.

He is 84 years old and has been a faithful Christian all of his life. I know his soul is protected.... It is hard to watch his body deteriorate incrementally ... You are right though and those words are comforting ...
