Sunscreen school policy I need advice I'm pissed

I've used Coconut oil for years.
It is my go to oil.

The school would not accepted.

Perhaps just a simple note from the doc..? Please do not get me wrong, I think they are over reaching by allot here. Makes me soooo mad.

get a spray sunscreen and dump out almost all of it, and fill the rest up with water,so it still smells like sunscreen,now he can get some sun ;)

That's nuts. Exposure to the sun's rays is essential for optimum health.

I have an appointment with his doc on Friday.

The problem with this whole situation is that I want my kids to not be afraid to think independantly and fight for their rights. I mean, today is the school,tomorrow is going to be SOMEONE REALLY DANGEROUS. I don't want them to think that just because someone looks as an outority figure he/she is more powerful then them.
We all here laugh at the poor steeple, but here I am, in this very ordinary, not glamorous situation,trying to teach two young kids to not be sheep and I got so many nasty comments, it is unbelievable....

We can only influence or own children. If everyone does that, we are going to end up will quality people as a next generation...one kid at the time!
