The father of the victim also recently asked the police dept. to allow the investigators from that ID show 'Cold Case' to go over the files, but was refused even after petitioned.

The one from my old hometown was fucked up. A girl went to some place out in the country where they had bands play in a big barn and never came home but her jeep was left in the parking lot.

A few days later, she was found floating in the Red River with her uterus surgically cut out.

The rumours part (which a LOT of people call fact) was that our local D.A, who was married, was seeing this girl on the side and had knocked her up.

It is also convenient that the D.A. at that time was known besties with a prominent local doctor.

also, the local police department 'lost' all the evidence twice, each time locating it months later in some misplaced box.
