Lifting 0500-0630 4 days a week. Don't overdo the potassium chloride or you'll get heart arrhythmia after about 6 months. Potassium is very dangerous to overdo (4.5 grams per day and in nearly everything naturally) but just as deadly to not have enough and then sodium is too high. If you are lookng for a 'pump' plus reduce DOMS and increase stamina I'd recommend taking a Creatine powder...I use it a few times a year when I'm bulking and it does the trick for me...and creatine also pushes fluid into your muscles... Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able, and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? ~Epicurus 33 A.D I am being held down by four greys as i type this ~ Florence 2015 A.D |

Always try to balance potassium with sodium, a bit more potassium than salt is best...moderation is the key I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69349606 United States 06/05/2015 09:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A balanced sodium-potassium pump is a foundation for all other functions. If you do not ingest a natural simple carbohydrate immediately following your workout, your body needs to replenish the burned off glycogen (sugar/fuel inside the muscle tissue). It will take it from the next easiest internal resource. Unfortunately that resource is to break down other muscle tissue that is not signaling for sugar replenishment. You body will cannibalize its own protein to get recover to the other muscles as fast as possible. |

If you want to get more water into your muscles the vehicle isn't going to be salt, but carbohydrates. This can be achieved with the supplement creatine. You can pack on 10-20 pounds of water into your muscles by using creatine strategically and daily. You mix creatine with 100% juice, and then drink plenty of water daily. This will also increase your capacity to push weight, thereby increasing your strength. |

User ID: 65670531 United States 06/05/2015 09:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Please, don't start toy with loading your body up with salt. It will not achieve what you're trying to do. It will actually make you retain water subcutaneously which is between your muscle and your skin and that's nasty. That's what happens to women when they get "bloated." Moreover, there are real dangers with taking too much sodium. Also, you're a black dude so high-sodium intake is already something you want to avoid, in general, considering hypertension and other genetic considerations. |

It's one of the few bodybuilding supplements that actually works. If you take too much, and try to just load up on juice and creatine, it will make things "grainy" on the other end, if you know what I mean. A little goes a long way. Just use it consistently in lower dosages. |

Are there any supplements that already have all this in one powder you can just measure and drink? Also, how are the results compared to creatine? |

When Jay Cutler is training, he eats loads of french fries and gallons of milkshakes. Eat whatever you want until you get too fat, then cut out the shit. But if you are skinny, eat. A lot. Whatever tastes good. Just work out and you will be fine. |
