Aid's cure?

Think about the money the PharmCo's would lose...

Any cure to anything that can't be marketable LEGALLY through the Pharmco's will NEVER see media headlines.

So I see your thoughts on this is like mine! PharmCo's would lose!

I had a friend whogave birth before she died of AIDS.

The child was HIV positive for the first year

later follow up monitoring showed she was negative for HIV antibodies and she is studied by the medical world


I believe this is not the only case where children of HIV positive mothers have somehow rid themselves of HIV

That's awesome, I hadn't heard that before.

Maybe it's like Chicken pox; once exposed to the virus, your body naturally builds an immunity to it. But somehow that only works during the initial stages of developement after conception.

I wonder what kind of testing they gave the baby 119440? Think the docs could find a cure from the babies blood?

HIV and AIDS are not related
being HIV positive only means that you have the antibodies to HIV which means that your immune system has taken care of it
now, AIDS is real - fer shur
but it is NOT caused by HIV
so, don't be fooled by anything that can 'kill' HIV as a cure for AIDS

Can a person have AIDS without having HIV? I know people have had HIV and never gotten AIDS, but I don't believe the reverse is true.

that's the big debate
some researchers that have gained access to CDC records claim there are literally thousands of full-blown AIDS cases that are HIV negative
keep in mind, the HIV tests ONLY test for HIV antibodies - which means the body has built an immunity response to the virus
supposedly, for those that believe HIV causes AIDS, HIV is the first virus in the history of man to kill you even though the body has created antibodies to it; which is something I am unwilling to just believe
in any case, it is very easy to naturally increase immunity, even being HIV positive which seems to lead to at least not getting full-blown AIDS
so, if HIV is the first virus to ever kill us even though we create antibodies; or even if it is not the cause of AIDS, the fact remains that you can build the immune system and not die of AIDS no matter what the cause is

The article doesn't say that Iran found a cure for AIDS. It does say that in their quest to find a cure, they "made a medical breakthrough with a formula to control symptoms of AIDS."

Iran has very sophisticated science research programs...and I think this "breakthrough" is good news. Perhaps it will help millions!

The exact opposite would be true.
