The Kurds are an admirable people, and they have shown their effectiveness in battle. I think that both the US and Russia want them to succeed. Israel is also fond of them.

Just my thoughts.

Having said that, I've heard some negative reports about the Kurds too, in regards to their ruling clan.

Most ruling clans tend to be somewhat corrupt anyway...

Think it's hard to say as I'm not to privvy on that side of things at least in the recent sense, but it depends on who's reporting it, what may be shit to us may be standard to other cultures.

I was wondering what Erdogan might do next, with his long planned offensive in Manbij, and in light of Bolton changing course on what Trump said about withdrawing troops from Syria (Bolton now saying that troop withdrawal is dependent on various conditions being met first). I was also hearing today that Erdogan snubbed Bolton during Bolton's visit to Ankara. Some of the questions asked in this video, are the questions I had . .

I seriously think that Turkey needs to start distinguishing between Kurds who blow up Turkish military (the PKK) and Kurds who blow up IS (the YPG).

I would imagine that the PKK and the YPG might have shared a certain amount of support early on, but with the way things are going (and have been going for the last couple of years), I would also imagine that these two groups would have initiated a certain amount of distance between themselves.

I do suspect that Europe as a whole is kind of trying to keep them that way. I do have some sympathy for the Turkish people, but less sympathy for their president.

In December 2018, Polish foreign minister Jacek Czaputowicz dubbed France "the sick man of Europe", citing the Yellow Vest protests and recent terrorist attacks.

It seems to me that the whole world is kind of sick...

Bolton is now PISSED with Turkey and now the US will BOMB Syria. " The Fucking poor Syrians never get a break". This is outrageous.

They are similar to the Sauds in that respect, it would seem.
