Psychedelics are extremely promising in the treatment of chemical dependencies (alcohol, nicotine, and various other drugs), clinical depression, fear of death and various other problems. LSD, shrooms, ketamine, DMT and DXM are very promising even at very low doses. Too bad the abuse of psychedelics stopped all clinical research in this field. |

Radio 4 made the play and it is about the famous British comedian Frankie Howerd who was suffering from mental problems in the 60s. He goes to the clinic for for LSD treatment to help him get through it and understand where it is coming from. It is a good laugh but it is a true story. Im sure it might still be available for a listen on the Radio 4 site or iplayer |

Quoting: NODOOM But legal restrictions makes testing the drugs for any potential benefits extremely hard. Writing in the BMJ, James Rucker, lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, said research was carried out in the 1950s and 1960s which indicated some positive impacts LSD and shrooms had on psychiatric cases. But the drugs were outlawed and classed as doing more harm than good in a medical sense so experiments immediately halted. [link to metro.co.uk] |

They're found in full sun in cow pastures after a rain, even a small rain. And that has what to do with my post |
