WHITE HOUSE DENIES ISIS HAS FORMED A CALIPHATE

When I first started watching this clip I thought it had to be from sometime early last year, but it’s not. The White House said today that ISIS has not formed a caliphate:

What an odd thing to deny, especially in light of the fact that ISIS has a caliph that oversees their caliphate. Is the White House denying it because they don’t ‘recognize’ the caliphate of ISIS because it’s been rejected by the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood? Or is it because Obama keeps saying that ISIS is not Islamic (to protect Islam) and if he admitted they had formed a caliphate he’d be contradicting himself
