Administrators generally, are the worst teachers that worked to get out to the classroom. They then therefore play politics and try more to keep parents and stock holders happy rather then address real discipline issues.

It is now the end of the school year. Admin and staff have been pumping up kids with all the STAAR BS with all sort of motivators so the kids are more excited to test. They modeled the STAAR pep rallies, however STAAR testing is over and the students know it is socially acceptable to go nuts in showing one another up in silly behavior now. One kids starts it, and there is usually very little a teacher can do to stop it.

Schools generally do not back up the teachers early enough in the school year. This is a set up for failure later on. It is easier and better to blame the teacher who can be replaced then it is to deal with parents and student behavior. Teachers get burned out and plain tired of it. So you end up with students taking control of the class room. Don't expect admin to step up and take any responsibility though. The teacher, is going to get in trouble and maybe even fired for not having control of class room. It should have never happened, as this is suppose to be a professional learning environment. But politics is what it is in school, and students are blameless for their actions.

All kids have parents, the parents need to set a good example by staying together. If they don't know who the babies daddy is then the mom needs to step up. I knew a few kids raised by their moms and they turned out good
