Yeah I'd have to go with the cop on this one as much as I want this doom porn to be real this time. If you look closely at the first video, there's a small space beneath the door allowing light through. That would make a terrible blast door as a blast door is meant to seal off and protect. Having a space underneath it kind of makes that purpose useless.

So, OP couldn't make his point on the other thread, so he started his own thread to try and make his point. You cant get over the fact that this guy totally debunked the whole blast door thing.
At about 1:30, he even zooms in on the door and you can clearly see the slats on the overhead door. This is pretty standard in a lot of big box stores.

And, regarding his car, there are MANY of those on the road down here. People buy used cop cars all the time from auctions. And, yes, I have even seen them with the bumper guard still on. His car sounds like a 5.0 because the police cruiser Crown Victoria has a 4.6L V8 in it. High performance engine and they do sound tough. He has a dash cam just like lots of people do. No one bothered him most likely due to the fact that his car looked like an unmarked cop car. As for why the walmart security force didnt bother him, again he probably looked like an unmarked cop. You do realize that the walmart security team is a couple of rent a cops in a Prius, right? This is not a military installation with black op snipers on the roof and drones manning the perimeter.. sheesh. Nothing to see here.

As for why the overhead doors are closed... it's the same with any remodeling project in a retail store. If the whole front of a building is glass, they usually put up paper, this just happens to have 2 openings where they can put up or use the existing overhead doors. Its to protect the equipment inside the building that the contractors are using. They don't want people to see the tools and machinery they leave lying around when they leave the job site for the night. It helps to deter smash and grabs.

As for the walmart super secret closings, it most likely is something much more simple that guberment concentration camps or distribution centers. My theory is like many others, I think it was to kill the talk of unionizing in the store. They have yet to pull any permits for this location regarding "Plumbing", or anything else for that fact (Hillsborough County has a very simple permitting website where this can be easily verified). I hypothesize that right now, there are demo guys in there right now stripping out the remaining walmart store equipment (shelving, counters, signage, etc) to have the store stripped and ready for the next retailer they are going to lease this space to. I don't buy the whole plumbing issue thing, either. But it is something much less than some crazy government black ops crap.

Cops are, by nature, very skeptical and paranoid people. It comes from a daily grind of seeing the worst of society, and you become calloused and suspicious of most everything.

I commend this guy for going, taking time out of his evening and doing a video that you can actually see details. I mean, we're after the truth here, right???

I was the first to post that it was a roll up security door, because that was what it was. You see them in just about every store these days.

And let's apply some logic here and say that even if it was blast doors, the rest of the building isn't. Meaning, 4-5 psi of overpressure would have flattened the whole building... the doors (if they were real blast doors) would still be there, but anyone inside would be under rubble.
