I have problem with this recipe. In medieval times hot peppers were uknown in Europe because they are from south America which was discovered in late XV century. Ginger was in medieval times more valuable than gold and turmeric even more so.
Of course garlic, onions and peppers and the rest are very healthy to the body no doubt about it.

My husband has been making this for years. We call it "fire cider" and use it for our sinuses. It clears them right up.

Be careful with tea tree oil, I was using some, diluted as directed to try and get rid of some skin tags and still ended up hurting the skin around the tags. It looked like a burn.

We make it, have quite a little stock of it actually, as it stays good forever.

It's not one we use regularly - obviously (I swear you need a gas mask to pour it off). We have another recipe that we use for right now. My mom has COPD, so she starts taking it if she gets even a sniffle... It's kept her out of the doctors office for the last couple of years.

Yeah I made some of this. Didn't really have occasion to use it but did try it. Dammm, it's hard to swallow. It's a fire down the tube all the way down.

I did mix some of the "paste" or veggies left over after the straining with my chickens feed when they were feeling poorly. I think it would likely make a good worm purge or fungal remedy for them although in small amounts as garlic and onion isn't too good for them.
