Whites should feel guilty for living 6 years longer than Blacks in Baltimore? It should be much more than that if it were not for the stress of living with people who are bred to be resentful and violent thanks to the ignorant and malevolent Hollywood/Washington cabal that shoved "civil rights" with a bayonet.

one thing I noticed was the high drop out rate from high school for black kids, so that is correlated to low employment rates.

Kids need to finish high school at least, to have half a chance at a job.

I think you have hit the heart of the difficulty in Baltimore.

It seems as if the people there feel they are victimized by the cops. Looking at all the white cops in this black city, I wondered where they live?

It's not only baltimore either; the militarization of police is happening everywhere and people are being brutalized unnecessarily. It won't end well for the cops either, unless they back off.

But honestly, didn't you think the cops in Baltimore were amazingly controlled? I heard the mayor told them to stand down, as a result the place began to burn.

I think the post was said in irony; but I think the mayor was very hesitant about letting the cops loose on the kids who were going bonkers.

It reminded me a bit of Ukraine, except they were tossing molotov cocktails at the cops.

They have cobblestone to dig up and heave there.

That might be one thing i would do in Baltimore; put tarmac over the cobblestone or brick streets.

Someone posted a comment the other day on here that the dollar is so powerful because it is backed up by military weapons. It makes sense to me. The militarized police can give you life or let your town burn. If people would make this the issue and not rich poor black white etc. maybe things would change. I don't see it happening though because then they false flag you and the face just changes to johnny mahmud. They have us whipped psychologically and spiritually.

I lived there in the 60s-80s. I am white. You couldn't pay me to go back. I spent all the years I lived there in misery. The schools sucked then. Can't imagine what they're like now. The teachers sat there and earned their pay and went home. We were numbers. The cops were not too horrible, but they were corrupt as were the city officials.

Being white and a girl, I had to be tough as nails to survive. My school was 80% black and rough. You would get sliced with box cutters for 50 cents in lunch money. The racial tension was thick. Everyone hated everyone. If you were smart, you spent the day looking at your shoes. You didn't dare look someone in the eye. It was taken as a challenge. You couldn't be too weak either. You went everywhere in groups..never alone. Lovely childhood! What a city!

OP, all of those stats are fine and dandy but they could likely be extrapolated to any major black urban area. None of it is specific to Baltimore. And, not coincidentally, every one of these cities has been run from mayor to dog catcher by liberal Democrats for decades. The ONLY thing that will save these areas and these people is conservatism. What business wants to invest in that place, with a mayor who won't even slap on a curfew to protect from looting, and tells the cops to stand aside?
