I did the calculation with a spreadsheet ... Chile, Haiti, Fukashima, Sumatra. The math works. But I suspect some here know this and have alterior motives other than saving lives.

Awesome ... I think it could be shown the 188 day cycle is caused by gravitational forces of an approaching large body from off the ecliptic.

188 days is a half year basically and stresses are maximum when Mother earth reverses from approach towards to moving away and vice versa. The stresses cause things that can move, to move, violently.
