Cause of death often requires photographs.

The officers would not be the ones to do that. The coroners office would be the one to handle the deceased and all that goes along with it. The officers just have to keep her body safe til they arrive.

This is COOK COUNTY, Ffs! Are you suggesting they do not have adequate medical examiner staff because that's the only ones with any business doing this.

It is NEVER appropriate for cops on the beat to disrobe a body for any reason. They could have lost all the forensics for one thing.

But decency still applies even for the deceased and this was indecent behavior. And yes, there are plenty of males who would love to gawk at any naked female even a dead one. male nurses have also been caught photographing naked females under anesthesia and even elderly nursing home females!

Would you be OK with this if it was your own daughter? I sure wouldn't.

There's another level to this, too ugly to discuss, but that's never stopped me before.

This girl tried very, very hard to be "hot" and I'm betting her parents bought into it and fanned the flames.

The kind of thing where every man in her orbit is a rapist or predator type thinking...this girl was the great hope of her family, a six that they all polished up into a 7.5. I'm sure they thought she was a 10, and so super precious that even her lifeless meatsack is too magically irresistible to animal pig men left alone with her.

I'm saying that there might be reasons we are not aware of and/or factors out of everyone's control like maybe the Coroner was awol that day or maybe the scene of the accident needed on-site photographic evidence of cause of death that couldn't be adequately established back on the slab at the coroner's office? Maybe the cop had special training for this purpose?

You have no idea the level to which automobile insurance companies dictate how much information is collected about cause of death on the scene. If there is even a 3% chance that evidence would prevent them from paying out, they're going to have the cops find it or sue the department.

Cook County is CHICAGO as most people in this country know. You seem to be the exception. They have one of the most extensive medical examiner's offices in the country, a model,for these smaller ones.

And what kind of mind thinks this is OK is beyond my comprehension.

Putting on a badge and a uniform does not convey some sort of transformative power to release one from the bonds of normal decency.
