I have had some serious shit going on, so I go to them like youre "supposed to" and the person just sits there with a "duh" look on their face. More and more they say 'I don't know" Quoting: CeeLite OKAY WELL I SURE AS HELL "DON'T KNOW EITHER THAT IS WHY I CAME TO YOU AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW DO YOU MIND ACTUALLY USING YOUR BRAIN AND THINKING TO MAKE A REFERRAL?"... They don't even examine me. I kept pointing "it hurts here" even lifting up jacket so they could see better... What I have to say may sound odd but think about it. A retired 90 yo doc who practiced until he was about 80 said insurance is what ruined healthcare. Said when he was a young doc there was little insurance, people tend to pay for service and if the doc did not diagnose and cure and treat them with respect then people would never go back--why pay doc who could not help--and so incompetent docs went out of business. Now with insurance, money is not coming out of patients pocket, they are happy to keep going back, doc has financial incentive to keep the patient coming back over and over because insurance pays. Old retired doc said most young docs these days have no diagnostic skills, basically they just give you a pill, tell you to come back in 2 weeks, if you feel better you think the doc is a hero, but it was actually just your natural healing process. If after 2 weeks you are not better doc just prescribes a different color pill. If after several visits and your natural healing ability has not kicked in and cured you doc just ships you off to a specialist--problem solved for doc. |
